We have supplied Caithness homes and businesses since 2003. All our softwood logs are sourced from local FSC or come from our own sustainably managed plantation. We try to supply our softwood logs dry but some may need more drying before use. Our professional firewood processor cuts the logs into our standard 25cm lengths or to customers’ requirements (up to 60cm).The logs then pass through a screen to remove most of the debris. Our premium quality hardwood logs are kiln dried for ultimate burning performance. They produce less smoke and ash with an excellent heat output, and for this reason you should use less logs to produce the same amount of heat.
